I grew up in the Philippines, where colour, craft, and community were woven into everyday life. In 2016, a scholarship brought me to Melbourne to study Visual Communication Design, and what was meant to be a chapter became a home.

My degree in Multimedia Arts gave me a broad foundation: print and digital media, photography, illustration, and animation. But it was the years working in publishing and marketing, first in the Philippines, then here in Melbourne, that taught me how design actually functions in the world. Not just how it looks, but what it does.

Today I work with businesses and makers who want their visual identity to mean something — and alongside freelance work, I’ve spent years embedded in agency teams, most recently New Doors, leading projects at pace with marketers, architects, and developers. I bring over a decade of cross-disciplinary experience to each project, and a genuine belief that good design should feel as thoughtful as it looks.

Understanding your vision is at the heart of how I work. I listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and spend real time uncovering the essence of your story. From there, we build something visually compelling, meaningful, and true to you.

  In practice, this often looks like a 60-minute discovery conversation, a shared mood board, or a playlist that captures the feeling we’re after.

  Nothing gets lost in translation. I take everything I’ve gathered and shape it into a creative direction that feels personal, purposeful, and distinctly yours. Your story guides every decision, from colour to composition to the words on the page.

  This is where we make it yours. Through rounds of open feedback and honest conversation, we refine until the work feels exactly right, not just technically sound, but something you’re proud to put out into the world.
  

At the end of every project, what matters most to me is that the work feels like you — and that it goes out into the world carrying your story with care.

Curiosity fuels most of what I do. Outside of client work, I’m drawn to permaculture, fermentation, and sustainable living — exploring how to grow food, build regenerative systems, and live more gently on the land. These practices aren’t separate from my creative work; they shape how I think about design: slowly, carefully, with the long view in mind.

I’m also a proud member of The Entree.Pinays, — a collective of entrepreneurial Filipinas celebrating Filipino cuisine, culture, and community in Naarm/Melbourne. It’s a space to honour our culinary heritage, build genuine connections, and show just how rich and varied Filipino culture really is.
